If you could give yourself just 10-15 mins a day of quiet time to pause and catch your breath, could you do that. Practising mindfulness allows your body to listen and feel all the senses around you. It is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself. Imagine you have a special present to open every day, and inside that gift was just for you. As you look into the box, it is empty, close your eyes and breathe in the peace and quiet for a few minutes. You deserve it.
