There's something very powerful when I look at the moon... as I stepped outside this morning with my dog, I can sense his anticipation as he sniffed frantically and immediately started to follow an interesting trail. I would have to say this is one of my favourite parts of my day, wrapped up in my hat and gloves feeling excited to feel the cold air on my face and being with my dog who thinks he is taking me for my early morning walk.
This morning it was a bit too early, however the moon woke me up, she was beaming through my bedroom window encouraging me to come outside. Her energy enticed me to get up and we weren't disappointed. She was so bright, radiating her beautiful moonbeams like a universal torch. We felt safe and at peace in her presence. The world was starting to wake up, as the sleepy birds started their dawn chorus, cars and trains were in the distant and the twinkling stars were slowly turning off their lights. I stood in the middle of the field, we won't alone as I could feel the moon glowing down on me, guiding my dog to show me the way across the paths. There was a magical stillness and I felt incredibly lucky. A childhood song came to me, "I see the moon and the moon sees me, God bless the moon and God bless me."
Both myself and my dog, came home invigorated and ready to start the day. My message I give to you today, is never stop looking up, no matter what your day brings to you, treasure those quiet moments that shines like the moon.
